Many people have learned a foreign language in their own country; others have learned a foreign language in the country in which it is spoken. Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages. In this essay, I will name some of the advantages of each approach and I will argue in favor of the first approach.
One who has learned a foreign language in his own country may spend less money than one who has learned a foreign language in the country in which it is spoken. He did not spend his money to live in the country. He might derive greater satisfaction because he can master the language by his own approaches. If there were any mispronounce, it would be better understood because he has learned the language in his own country.
On the other hand, one who has learned a foreign language in the country in which it is spoken might master the language faster than the others. One can learn and practice the language every day because he has to use it in his daily activity. He can improve his language ability by speaking with a native speaker. Otherwise, he can learn about the cultures and tradition of the country that will give him more knowledge.
In my opinion, I must argue in favor of the first approach. I have learned a foreign language in my own country. I can learn the language without leaving my family and I still can do my daily activity. It may not be a better way, but it is my way.
